Description:The role of the Senior Marketing Manager is to work in concert with leadership and marketing to create and execute marketing campaigns that drive increasing sales. This position will be responsible for campaign design, product positioning, Web content, purchasing pages and promotions that drive increasingly higher web traffic, trials, and conversions. In addition, this role will drive campaigns that maximize our OEM relationships and other partnerships from a marketing campaign point of view. Performs a variety of tasks and must remain flexible
Duties:*Communicate and coordinate with leadership to understand priorities and business / marketing objectives.
*Own the Go-To Market strategy, plan and programs for all Tappin products.
*Serve as primary interface to cross-functional departments to ensure the quality and viability of the product for key markets.
*Create a marketing plan for the lifecycle new products including strategies to grow revenue and reach new customers based on analysis, customer data, testing strategies and ROI.
*Work with the Sr. Director of Solution Marketing to Manage goals and objectives including viewing the product from a P&L perspective as well as the growth of revenue and customers.
*Together with the Sr. Director of Marketing and TappIn leadership, determine strategy for market planning and deliverables.
*Conceive high-impact internal and customer facing materials that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of our products.
*With the support of our SEO, determine the development of website content and social media to drive sales through clear, high-impact product information.
*Develop and manage product collateral including datasheets, whitepapers, case studies and work with our technical writer for technical documentation.
*Assist corporate communications as it pertains to necessary information regarding TappIn
*Managing Third Party vendors as needed to help in execution of marketing projects.
*With guidance from the Sr. Director of Solution Marketing, Monitor market trends, regulatory drivers, competitive threats and market-growth predictions to define price/performance positioning relative to competing or emerging technologies, market share, expected market growth and target sements.
*Develop / Maintain relationships and communications across internal teams including sales, marketing, PR, product development, and senior leadership.
*Sense of urgency, persistence, creative and a take-charge positive attitude.
Qualifications:*5 to 7 years of experience in the B2B/B2C technology marketing field, with at least 3 years in a campaign execution/guerilla marketing role.
*Ability to define, plan and execute new product launch materials including brochures, event materials, press releases, advertisements, web content and white papers.
*Solid experience working with Product Development, Sales, Partners, and Customers to define market needs.
*Quick learner, including willingness to learn the essence of Globalscape software products.
*Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate technical information to all audiences.
*Must be detail-oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and priorities.
*Ability to take on projects and own it through to completion including measuring success.
*A deep understanding for enterprise information technology software market.
*Team oriented, motivated self-starter who works well with individuals across all departments and levels.
*Excellent organizational planning and follow-through ability.
*Excellent time management skills.
*Proven track record of successful product marketing initiatives.
*Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications.
*BA or degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
